• Texas Proud Customer BBQ Welcomes Record Crowd

    On May 2, the Edwards Cameron County Team welcomed almost 300 guests during the 7th Annual Texas Proud Customer Appreciation BBQ held on the beautiful grounds at 1075 Paredes Line Road. The set up and decorating crew led by Teresa Huddleston, Kitty Van Holsbeke and Elva Jackson Garza worked diligently preparing and coordinating for the big event.  The venue was set up beautifully, the food was delicious and the desserts were yummy. Special thanks to Sofia, Vinnie, AJ, Joey and all of the Brownsville Team including the title plant and Escrow Officers and Staff who came together and helped serve, greet guests, prepare the serving line and the dessert station.   • Edwards Abstract and Title Co. Welcomes New Escrow Officer – Mark Anthony Lewis

    Edwards Abstract and Title Co. is pleased to announce that Mark Anthony Lewis has joined the Edwards Team as Escrow Officer. Mark will be welcoming customers at the Edwards McAllen location at 4228 N. McColl Road. Mark is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Degree with concentration in International Management.  He has worked in the title insurance industry since 2015 where he gained experience in closing commercial and residential transactions in the San Antonio market. During that time, Mark also became the designated closer for William Lyons Homes. Mariana Ragousis Ramirez, McAllen Office Manager and Sr. Escrow Officer is looking forward to expanding the closing services offered by the McAllen Team.     Edwards Abstract and Title Co. hosted the 9th Annual Texas Proud Customer Appreciation BBQ on Thursday, March 28. Legacy Chapels was decked out and ready to welcome customers as they enjoyed the event from 11:00-2:00 p.m. The Edwards Team greeted over 750 guests who were treated to mouth-watering barbecue with all of the trimmings, delicious and cool desserts and ice cream; entertainment and lots of networking!Oh what a fantastic day it was for Edwards! The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce Fiesta Edinburg Committee is pleased to announce that Byron Jay Lewis, President & C.E.O. of Edwards Abstract and Title Co. has been named as the Grand Marshall of the Fiesta Edinburg Parade scheduled on Saturday, February 23.This is the second time that Byron Jay Lewis has been named as the Grand Marshall.  He has served as President of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce during 1993-94 and held various positions on the Board of Directors before being named President.  Lewis was also instrumental in the Southern Pacific Train Depot Restoration project that is now home to the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce.
